ABOUT US Creation of the Home Clearinghouse model began in 1993 when its founding Real Estate Broker recognized the need to create an economical alternative to traditional, high "percentage of selling price" commissions for Home Sellers. In 2001 Home Clearinghouse became a division of Artemis Bowen, Inc. was the first fully licensed, alternative Real Estate Brokerage in New Hampshire, and one of only two available in Massachusetts. In 2005 Home Clearinghouse became the first fully licensed, alternative Real Estate Brokerage in the state of Maine.
